The dilshad is the best Indian restaurant in town by a mile. I have been eating here for 20 years and would never go elsewhere. Not only is the food superb but tony and the guys always make it a pleasant evening.
The dilshad for me is one of the best places to eat at they provide food and service at the very high standards.I have been dining with them for the past 5 years and they have not yet dissapointed me once i would recommend anyone to try them as they will not dissapoint.
first time at the dilshad on wednesday in 20 years, the staff were very polite and helpful, the starter and main meal we had was exellant,we did,nt have to wait long for anything, will defantly come back again, exellant food and exellant service
The dilshad is the only place you will ever need to go for the perfect curry! I have eaten here for years and tried other places but none of them match the quality of food and service! Tony and the rest of the staff are so friendly which makes the perfect place to dine
I live in Spain now and there are not many things I miss about Cannock, but the DILSHAD is definitely one of them. I think I must have been going there for 35 years and It’s just got better and better. We always go when back in the UK. Tony Udin is just a great restauranteur and the restaurant is cast in his image, assuring high standards always. Try the Murgh Sylheti cooked to Madras heat. it’s fantastic!
You’ve tried the rest …now try the best? simples! the ultimate inferno is on the radar, some day soon and once i’m ready to take on the heat challenge…
Have just returned from the Dilshad this evening after beating their Inferno. I got myself a little certificate and a photo with our waiter.
While the curry is indeed extremely hot – it isn’t to the detriment of the taste. As someone who generally eats Phall, I can categorically say it is the hottest curry I have ever tried in my life. My girlfriend took the yellow-bellied – or as she referred to it ‘sensible’ – approach and ordered a more traditional offering from the menu.
As is usual at the Dilshad, Tony and his team made us feel extremely welcome. The attentive service received from AJ, our waiter, was second-to-none.
I would thoroughly recommend the Dilshad to anyone looking for a warm and friendly atmosphere. It really is superb.
P.s. We forgot to leave a tip – we only realised on the way home. Sincere apologies. If I beat your Inferno again, you can charge me for it!
